I just heard this very sad news this morning. Deepest condonlences to Freddy's family and friends. I am very sad.I've loved Freddy ever since I "discovered" him in 1975 or so. My friend bought his album, "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights", and made the big mistake of bringing it over and playing it for me. I immediately fell in love and made her sell it to me! (I still have it)I met Freddy once in the 1980's after a performance at the Alameda County Fair,CA. and got his autograph and even a kiss! :)That will always be one of my favorite memories.

Rest in Peace Dear Friend, I will miss you.
