I will always remember Freddy's beautiful music. He had the voice of an angel. I have travelled great distances to see Freddy in concert, a total of ten times since 1977. I last saw Freddy perform at the Riverside Casino in Laughlin, NV in 2004. I send my sincerest condolences to Freddy's family, bandmates, and loved ones. He is gone but will never be forgotten.

In September 1999, I attended Freddy's concert with Little Joe y la Famila at the Center for the Arts in Escondido, CA. I will always treasure the memory of that particular concert because I went up to the stage between songs and Freddy held my hand and kissed it. I will never forget how great that show was, and how kind and gracious he always was to his fans.
