I cried when I found out Freddy passed on.I have memories of when I was 6 yrs old and my mom and dad danced to"Before the next teardrop falls" That was their last dance together.They divorced a yr later. I will always remember that moment, they looked so happy and I had taken that Freddy Fender cassette and just listened in my room thinking about my dad. Everyday I would listen to Freddy Fender and for a moment everything was going to be ok. I am 35 yrs old now and I listen to him still when i feel a lil down. I have always wanted to see him in concert,when I found out that he was going to perform at a casino here in Wi,I could not go cuz I was in a car accident the day before.I listened to his cassette,yes, cassette,I STILL have it,lol.Thank you Freddy,you made me feel so much better.Now my son is learning to play those songs that I love so much. Thank you Freddy. I love ya lots, Phoebe
