I first heard Freddy when I was 8 years old back in 1975. I saw him at the San Jose fair with my aunt, and afterwards at a Taste of Texas in Covina Ca. I truly do love his music, and was very sad when I heard of his illness and death. I am glad he had a close relationship to Jesus at the end of life on earth. I know the good Lord is enjoying his company and music. I play Jumbulaya everyday, no joke. I wish his family comfort in the Lord and want to thank them for sharing Freddy with the world.
