As a human being I felt the loss of such a great human being. As an educated Chicano I feel so identified with the songs of Freddy Fender, with his cultural background. That's where I feel the greatest loss, we need more influential Chicanos, for the new generation. People like Baldemar Huerta who set the standard high and set a good example. He will be greatly missed, however I feel blessed that he left his music, a beatiful legacy. My condolences to his wife, his children and all his family in general, feel proud.
