I got the privledge and honor to share the same stage as freddy fender back about a year ago here in albuquerque new mexico when he did the opening act for al hurricane and al hurricane jr at the route 66 casino I took pictures with him and hung out in his dressing room before and after the show. Freddy was such a great guy and loyal, I still have the poster that route 66 made of Freddy Fender, Al Hurricane, and Al hurricane Jr on my garage wall!
