I can't believe 5 years has gone by and how much things have changed in our lives. However, my love and my daughters love for you will never fade. I put on one of your shirts the other day, Mariela was not even a year when you passed, and yet she sees me where your shirts and knows that’s her Grandpa and her face is priceless on how happy it makes her to know that. It makes me proud how she knows you and misses you because that means they will never forget. They are my shoulder to lean on being so far away from family and there is comfort in it somehow that they know how i feel. I love you Dad and will never forget.

Freddy Fender, You are a Superstar in the world and Samoa, a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. To this day your music is loved by all generations because its deep, real and there was noone like you before and after. Your gift has produced so much happiness and babies in my country hahaha. I wish I could bring you to my country for month long concerts and Fiestas. So long amigo you are my uso and idol, hope to listen to you in Heaven.

I am trying to secure permissions for my group to record and release "Before the last teardrop falls" and "Wasted days and wasted nights" on our 8th album, which we are currently working on in the studio.

So far the label people are unwilling to talk to me about this, so any information I could get about how to secure these permissios would be greatly appreciated.

I loved Freddy Fender's music. Simply said, he was a genius. I wrote a song for him on my new cd "Cadillac Jack" called "The Freddy Fender Song". I will post it on YouTube and Facebook in two week. His music will live forever because he sung from the heart to the heart.

To those who have or know anyone with the "big C," the answer is as simple as raspberries. Specifically the seed of the red raspberry has ellagic tannons which will turn on the apoptosis system which runs parallel with the immune system. Well Happy Birthday Freddy. It's almost been 5 years since your passing. Lillian and I are going on 18 years of marriage on June 11th. William Lee Nance III has grown up to be a fine young man, you would be proud. I still remember sitting at your dining room table eating spaghetti and talking about your Idea of stopping homelessness in America.
