I Have always been a fan of Freddy Fender, use to always listen and sing his songs to my girlfriends. it worked for me. that was when i was 15-17 years old. Now im 49 and still love his Music.
He now has his big Rancho grande, and never has to worry about teardrops falling. He is where he can still sing to all of us, and hear us sing back to Him. We Love you Freddy. R.I.P Victor from California.

My respect to the family...I was introduced to Freddy Fender's music in the late 60s. I still love his music as much or even more today. I introduce my children to Freddy's music and they also love it. This is to say that his music will go on for ever. All it takes is just one time to hear it and your hooked. Mr Fender...you'll alway be remembered with love.

Today is my 44th birthday and I sat down and played the greatest song ever on my computer. Wasted Days And Wasted Nights. I got this record from my aunt for my birthday when I was a little kid on a 45 and she had to buy me another one because I wore it out. I also made a cd of the Texas Tornados and keep it in my truck. My kids can't understand the reason why I keep listening to these songs but they just don't get it. Thanks for the memories Freddie.

Hi grandpa i just want to tell u that i love you and that i miss u.. its been a few months since i wrote and i know u are in heaven looking down and reading what people write in ur guest book. It is hard for me to see and hear ur music still because u have effected my life so much and still effect it that i cant, after about 5 years comprehend why god took u from the world. when i hear the name princess of tex mex it not only reminds me of u but it reminds me why i was called that, but i am ur granddaughter and so that name would go with me because i have ur blood running through my veins. but i no longer want to have that title because i am not the only one who has that name and we all know who that is.. i would rather be called the last name that u gave me and that is the name i will take to my grave and that is "grasshopper" and i love grandma for giving me the best christmas gift that i could have gotten and that is a grasshopper necklace and i hang it up so that everyday it will remind me of u forever.
i love u forever and always..

Can anyone help me give money to help Japan?
I am so sad about what happened in Japan with the earthquake plus tsunami and I really need to assist them simply by donation.
Does anyone know an online site or anything where you can donate to support Japan?

With tears in my eyes, I'm missing my friend terribly.
I "met" Freddy Fender at an early age growing up in Africa, when my older brother William played "Before the Next Teardrop Falls" and other songs. William had some tapes of the greatest musicians ever and these men have accompanied me whereever I went in word and song till today, aged 47. I don't speak Spanish or share common blood but never mind, Freddy Fender became an essential part of me.
We lose a good thing if we lose Freddy Fender! To the family, keep your hearts warm. He didn't hurt anybody but gave us his love. God bless you all.
*Wiliam's cassette tapes of the greatest musicians had ballads from Freddy Fender, Sam Cooke, Engelbert Humperdinck, Otis Redding and Percy Sledge. Try playing "There goes my Everything", "I've been loving you too long..", "Warm and Tender Love", with any of Freddy's.

Wasted Days and Wasted Nights is my favourite too. Wish there could be some new stuff to look forward to.
