Freddy was My moms favorite singer and we got to see him in concert at eagle mountain casino, Freddy put on a excellent show our favorite song is before the next tear drop fall. and wasted days and wasted nights..He will be always remembered and missed... But his music will live on...

Very sad news. I too remember first hearing his songs as a child and enjoying them as an adult. I felt a connection with his music as though I would feel comfortable sitting there next to him singing along.

I worked with Baldemar (as I knew him then) in the fields and he would sing during the day and I had the privillege to sing with him while working, he was an all around great person! I am sure he will be truely missed by all his fans, miss him as a person, and a perfermor. Thankfully we have his great and unique music left behind as a legacy!!!

I remember listening to Wasted Days and Wasted Nights as a child. I can still sing every word. My mother died last year and is in heaven...please sing to her if you see her! She was a true fan. God bless your family.
