I first listened to freddy's music at age 18 & now 44yrs. old .My mexican boyfriend introduced me to his music & have loved it since then.I will miss him very much & know there will never be another like him ............hope to see & meet you someday freddy......... love Pancha

Years ago my daughter brought home records by Freddy that she loved and I too enjoyed. I was fortunate to see Freddy twice at a place called the Fox Den in the town I live in. He was sincere and so down to earth. I got his autograph on one of my daughter's old 45's and spoke to him for awhile.I felt so badly that he was sick, and then my heart broke when I heard he had past away. May God be with his family and I bet up in Heaven there is one teriffic concert going on!

it's been just over a month since freddy rested into eternal peace. with him he takes the love of his millions and millions of fans.but leaves behind a world of memories. god bless the huerta family and hope the christmas spirit fills your empty hearts with gods love and freddys happy spirit. the gutierrez family .baker city or best wishes to the huerta family.

OUR INSPIRATION
As a child Freddy experienced
life like all the rest,
working hard every day
trying to be the best.
But somehow he was different
his desires came from within,
tugging at his very soul
thus, causing his journey to begin.
The smile Freddy had was contagious
witnessing what was in his heart,
his personality was kind and gracious
a loving friend right from the start.
Freddy never took "NO" for an answer
nothing was impossible to him,
the love he had for music
proved it again and again.
He was born in San Benito
a city he called his own
a city that embraced him
now has called him home.
From Waisted Days to Secret Love
he was our Inspiration,
now he sings with the angels above
to a Sacred Congregation.

Just wanted to say that Freddy was man of many talents and was not filled with arrogance. The Lord had to have come to him that day in the car. How awesome to have an encounter such as he did. The Lord is good and He wanted to reassure Freddy of where he was going. Well God bless Freddy and his family and he's letting us know that He'll be there before the next teardrop falls.

Freddy you will be deeply missed. However to me the Lord called you home so that you can go sing Vaya Con Dios Mi Vida. My favorite was Aya En el Rancho Grande, also Wasted Days wasted nights, all the oldies were the goodies. Gone but never forgotten. My son had one of your tapes, but then it ruined and boy did he get MAD !!!!!!!!!
