God has him in his arms and he is suffering no more. May God bless his family and friends and grant them the strength to get through this. Freddy will be greatly missed. (Rosa)
I knew Freddy back in the cotton picking days in the Valle and I remember us sitting on the side playing our guitars under the trailer. May God bless him, his family and his friends, I send you my deepest condolences(Eddie)

To Freddy's family: my prayers and best wishes. He left all of us too soon.
And he left us with some of the best music - timeless.
Vaya con Dios, Freddy. Vaya con Dios.

My heart and prayers go out to the Huerta Family. I grew up listening to his music because my parents were/are big fans of his and I too came to respect and admire his ability. I too lost my dad exactly 1 year ago sunday the 15th of october. May your minds be filled with memories and though you will miss him dearly, may your hearts be full of joy knowing that he in a better place..pain free & music filled....GG

Freddy was one of my most favorite singers. I feel so bad that I never got to see or hear him in person but his music will always live on in my collection. God Bless Freddy and I pray he is at peace and now at last free from pain and suffering. He was a truly great Star. Love to his family and especially Vangie.

It's sad to see such a great & taleted person leave us so soon. But before "Our next teardrop falls", the Trevino family would like to thank you for all your great music. My first time that I had the privilage to see Freddy in person was with the Texas Tornados at the Houston Rodeo back in the early 90's, in the packed Astrodome. I remember the crowd loved the music but when Freddy started to sing his classics like "Wasted Days & Wasted Nights" the crowd went nuts! Again Freedy, Thanks!!!!

I didn't know Freddy but enjoyed his music tremendously, I use to go to a club here in Halifax where a singer would pay tribute to Freddy by singing his music..."God Bless" I pass on my sincere condolences to his family, my prayers go out to you.
