We all have enjoyed freddie's music and some have gotten to know a bit about the man. Freddie I'm sure is having a good time and his music like his kindness will live with us all forever. Like all who pass we go to be with our loved one's and friend's who have left before us and I celebrate that freddie is with those he loved and will alway's be there for us and those he left behind. His music and his kindness changed us all. We will miss you freddie, but you will live in our heart's and the music industry forever.

We send our sincerest condolences to the family of Freddie Fender. We had the honour of meeting Freddie and taking pictures with him in Laughlin, NV after his concert. He was a great man with a good sense of humour and was very kind to me and my family. We will cherish that time forever, rest well Freddie and God Bless you and your family.

Freddy, may you rest in peace. My condolences to the Fender family.
My mom had your 45's and when I was growing up we used to listen to them all the time. Oh how I miss those days!!
Mom passed away seven years ago. If I close my eyes I can hear Wasted Days and Wasted Nights playing on the stero and I can see Mommy dancing to the music!

I first saw Freddy in concert in the 70's and I dreamed of one day performing on the same stage with this charismatic entertainer. Years later I was given the honor of being his opening comedy act numerous times when he performed in Los Angeles. I discovered he was not only a phenomenal performer, but also a beautiful human being. He loved humanity, he loved laughing. Your spirit lives on, Freddy. Rest in peace, carnal.
