Grew us listening to this legend. I remember my mom playing playing Freddy, Elvis, George Jones, Janis Joplin on the radio. We would dance and sing along as loud as we could. What great memories. Then I had the opportunity to meet his amazing daughter, Tammy. Who has become one of my dearest friends. He really was a remarkable person, so talented and raised a good family in-spite of all the adversity. God had a hand around them for sure.

I grew up listening to Freddy Fender,Johnny Rodriquez, my mother would dance with us and sing along. Everytime I hear his songs I sing right along. One of the most awesome singer's. I still have his album my mother had and still play them. Freddy Fender is my all time favorite singer. Thank you for your talent and beautiful voice.
