Just recently I listened to "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" & "Teardrop Falls". It brought tears to my eyes for the good fellings it brought back to me from my childhood. I remember my Mother listening to you over and over again. I remembered all the words and it made me smill and feel good inside. Thank you for touching a part of our lives.

I remember when i was a young girl and into my horses that my parents would always listen to freddy fender tape casettes. until one year they surprised me with taking me to see freddy fender in concert at the pomona fairgrounds i was so excited. His voice has always been amazing and he could light up a room with the sound that came out as he sang. He will be missed greatly and his songs carryon the miracle of the legend Freddie Fender. God Bless to Family and Friends.

Where can I find a CD with I'm Asking Forgiveness"? OR BETTER YET, I think Freddy should re-record it and put it on a new CD.

I grew up in the late 50's and early 60's listening to my father's 45 and 78 records of country music back home in Manila, Philippines. Then in the 70's when I was in college, my attention was caught by a record my father was playing one Sunday afternoon--it was Freddie's "Before the Next Teardrop Fall." Since then, I started a collection of country music of my own, featuring mostly Freddie Fender. I still have my collection back home in Manila.

I saw Freddie at Spirit Mountain Casino and took some pictures of him on stage. Also with my wife and daughter. They turned out pretty good. Years ago I got my wife hooked on him. I am 77 yrs. old and have listened to him for a long, long time. We only have two of his albums but are going to buy more.
