To my Dad the man in my life that loved me unconditionally and showed me how to stay strong, keep on moving forward and never give up. My mother listen to Freddy when i was a small boy and now when i,am a lot older i would listen to his music and think of my mother and his voice is amazing Thank you.

Freddy Fender lives in me now. I grew up listening to the "Fred" all my life and as time goes on by and the genre of rock changes, Freddy Fender's music is timeless and way beyond his own time. Whenever I can't concentrate and I need to shut out the world. It's just me, Freddy and a beer, till sense doesn't make sense at all. I don't even need an ipod because his tunes are in my heart and in my fingers.

I come back to this site every now and then.Its crazy i seen Freddy when i was young boy with my mom and sister at the Arizona state fair even waited on a signed picture. Never realized the impact that man would make on my life with his music. Then i realized how much him and my dad looked alike . Funny my dads been many times asked and announce when out if he is Freedy Fender the likeness is there the mustash and look is there. Dont get me wrong he is not in no way a impersonator or tried to be just a great man from Eagle Pass, Tx that has that rough TEJANO look. Well i feel i will continue to listen and pass on Freddy's music to my family till i no longer can listen.Even when that day comes and i can longer can listen to his music it is part of the music to play on my last day here. To me one of the best that god blessed us with in the music industry. Wish i could have seen him one more time to appreciate the music live.

I love this site dedicated to the great Freddy Fender. His music and the memories that are all still here IN his music. A Sweet Summers Night for one. I am going to see Merle Haggard soon and Freddy sang some of his songs. Hopefully I will hear some of the songs. I saw CD'S on Freddy's gift site I do not have. Today I listened to a CD a friend gave me,and as a musician myself since the '80's, I finally truly appreciate Freddy's genius. Not only did he have a distinctive voice, but he was a master at interpreting songs. He is in company with master interpreters like Sinatra, and Jagger. These guys "live" the songs they sing, and that is why they have long, and successful careers.
